Learning Target: I can tell a story with music for my music video project.

Steps:

  1. Find a song to write a 2 column script for Music Video
    1. Project due TODAY!
  2. Check out the requirements for the Final Portfolio.
  3. Check out the next assignment, special effects with green screen.

Next Assignment: Green Screen Special Effects Sequence in After Effects/Premiere

Make yourself fly with green screen! Have fire shoot from your hands. Give yourself a super power. Ever wanted to fly though the hallway? Now you can.

For your next assignment you will create a 1 minute video that features a superpower or special effect. What situation are the people in?

You can use Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects to make this happen. Use a green screen and use 3 point lighting to show that.

Video will be due on the last day for seniors, June 20th for Everyone else.

Final Portfolio Project

For your Final Exam in this class, you will create a photo Portfolio website, which has the following:

1. A main page with the following:

  • A paragraph with an Artist Statement, a paragraph about your overall style and influences as a Videographer.
  • Call this page ‘Mission’

2.  A second page called ‘Work’ containing the following:

  • All of the videos embedded into the page.
  • A paragraph about your experience making this video, what you learned about team work about each one and what inspired you to make this video.

3.  A third page that’s a blog, entitled blog. On this page, have the following information:

  • Write a post where you reflect on new skills that you gained through projects this semester. This reflection could include reflections on Camera angles, three point lighting, editing, script writing, etc.

4. A fourth page with your resume attached. Don’t have a resume? Use one of the resume templates in Google Docs.

  • Thing’s you’ll need on your resume.
    • First full and last name, with zero abbreviations.
    • Email Address.
  • Any and all job experiences both current and previous, even and especially if it was helping out a family member, volunteering time at a church and any extra curricular clubs, sports or activities you belong to.
  • Indicate the kind of work you would like to do.
  • Five Skill Statements. Choose five from this list or make up your own.
    • To create a skill statement ask yourself the following?
    • What did I learn to do in this class?
    • Examples could include.”I can adjust focus on Canon DSLR cameras. ” or “I can use multiple camera angles to tell a story. Or “I can light a scene correctly for three point lighting.” or “I can combine video and audio in Adobe Premiere.”

To create your portfolio, you will be using to create your portfolio, you will be using Weebly, Edublogs or WordPress,. or ADOBE SPARK!!!!

Once you are inside, use the above interface to add pictures, pages, text, etc.

When you have all of the above completed, copy and paste the URL into Google Classroom.

 FINAL PORTFOLIO PROJECT IS DUE AT THE END OF THE PERIOD ON JUNE 12TH FOR SENIORS AND JUNE 20TH FOR EVERYONE ELSE. 

NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THIS PROJECT.
